One abaya - Five different ways - Fun with color blocking (2)

So for part two of my ' One abaya - Five different ways' series, is a fun spring/summery look with some color blocking . For me anytime there's a mix of bright colors, it instantly screams fun.   Especially wearing pink and purple together, I find they are the perfect combination to bring out that girliness in you (which is what I love!). A great look for a picnic at the park, a tea party or any casual daytime event or even for a relaxed evening do. I would wear wedges for daytime and heeled pumps for evening. If you haven't seen my first look, check it out HERE but you can see how changing the accessories around, can create a totally different look, even with a printed abaya.

A spring accessory - Henna art !

 I love Henna art and think it is such a lovely way of dressing up your hands for spring ! I would usually leave out hand/wrist jewellery, so the henna design is the focus.

 Purple Purple Purple .. I realise, I have alot of things in purple and I don't even like that color much..  I'm sure you can relate to this.. You absolutely love the design of something ( Accessory, clothing or bag) but its only available in a color you don't realllly dig but you'll still buy it because you soooo love the design/style... I do that.

One abaya - Five different ways -Casual chic (1)

I decided to start a series, showing you five different ways of styling this pretty printed abaya. I simply love the embroidery and super wide sleeves ! Again, it is one of them abaya's that can be styled to be casual or dressy. This first look is a casual chic look, what I wore for a friends get together for lunch.. Also something you can wear around town shopping, if you live or are on holiday, in the middle East. I dressed it down, simply by wearing it with pink hi tops, kept the head scarf, simple black and  for jewellery, I wore a funky pink double finger ring, peachy/pink watch and a blue braided charm bracelet. To bring out the white in the embroidery, I completed the outfit with a little white bag.

Headscarves storage

I picked up this Accessory hanger for £2.00 pounds at Primark yesterday and it is simply perfect for headcsraves/hijab storage ! There are 11 holes to slot in your scarves and 11 hooks , which I think are great for hanging underscaves / hats / headbands and e.t.c. For thinner scarves, you can even slot, two into one whole. I find this such a great way of organising headscarves.hijabs, because it saves space and you can easily see all your options when putting an outfit together ! I will definitely be going back get some more and will also be using them for longer necklaces and belts storage because at the moment, my 'throwing them all in a big box' often means, I spend a good 10 minutes untangling me necklaces in the mornings !

These are just some of the scarves, I will be wearing for Spring/Summer, as the weather gets warmer, Insha Allah !  My favourite is the beige/white one with a pop of mint green !
